Tim has been short-listed for a British Airways ‘Great Briton’ Award.
If he gets enough votes then they will provide our whole team with flights to South America to begin our journey to the Pole.

Miles!? My event was the 400-metres…
Yesterday, all three athletes finally met in one place.
It’s the first time they’ve all gathered since being recruited and the excitement was tangible. Rosie was with us completing the team of five and giving us all a briefing on what we can expect in Antarctica.

I am very, very pleased to announce the addition of our third and final athlete: Declan Kerry.
Dec stood out from the very start of our selection process, firstly back in February at the meeting in London, and again in the Peak District last month where he kept his positive approach through a long, tough day.

Expedition Cancelled… Good Luck!
The 2012 Inspire South Pole Project has been cancelled due to a lack of funding.
We had a good idea, a good team and a good time over the months and years working on getting this project off the ground but we didn’t secure the funding necessary for a South Pole expedition. [Read more...]
